An early childhood educator at heart, Teacher Ella is passionate about providing developmentally appropriate and quality education for all learners. Her advocacy to empower individuals through growth mindset allows her to positively influence students and other stakeholders involved in the holistic development of the child. Her expertise includes developmentally appropriate practice, growth mindset, multiple intelligences, play-based learning, positive guidance, project work as well strategies for development of core competencies.

Teacher Ella holds a Master’s Degree in Family Life and Child Development from the University of the Philippines, Diliman. She has over 20 years of Early Childhood Education experience which includes being an instructor and a Preschool Head for the Multiple Intelligence International School. She served as the Program Director for Corazon S. Atayde Memorial Foundation, an educational NGO. As a Program Director she conceptualized and designed strategies for literacy and play-based programs for underserved communities under government and private funding. She runs trainings and workshops for a diverse group of audiences including parents and caregivers as well as professional development programs for educators both in the public and private sectors. Currently, she is an Education and Program Design Consultant servicing schools, private companies, NGOs, and the Department of Education and heads Enriched Learning Labs, a learning laboratory for all learners.
