A Recommitment to Tomorrow
Parabukas held its relaunch last Wednesday, August 15 at The Address at Wack-Wack with the attendance of the team's friends, family, and people instrumental to the company's success so far.
The relaunch served as a way of “expanding and redefining the direction of the firm,” according to Aya de Leon, our CEO. Aya also mentioned that the event was a way for to thank friends and family who sometimes even took on roles that weren’t expected of them. The event was also a chance for the team to introduce their new members, including Sophia Caralde, the new Administrative Officer, and Helen Alkuino, the Finance Officer.
We brand ourselves as a ‘young, boutique consulting firm’, and naturally, we accompanied the relaunch with social media. We introduced a couple of new things: our refurbished website, which features a blog and a list of expanded services in a more modern and sleek design; our Instagram info campaigns, "Make a Difference Mondays" and "Factual Fridays"; and (brand new) Twitter @parabukasHQ.
Boasting an all-women full-time team, the relaunch also stood as a way for us to expand our legal practice to achieve long-term results, especially with the firm having a developing country perspective compared to counterparts abroad. This coincides with an introduction of their new areas of work in Legal and Policy Landscapes, Environmental Closures, Tax Benefits, and Regulatory and Compliance Mechanisms, which all coincides with their mission of of focusing on the future.
Certainly Parabukas is reorienting towards the future, for the aim of a better tomorrow, as the company name suggests. Parabukas is not just a name, it’s also a promise.
