Dr. Monica Ortiz

Monica Ortiz is an interdisciplinary researcher who focuses on climate change, food security, and biodiversity. She also has experience with science-policy, climate change adaptation, disaster risk reduction, and environmental education. She was most recently a postdoctoral research fellow at University College London.
She finished her PhD at the University of Sheffield on the assessment of climate change impacts on agriculture, and has masters degrees from the University of Copenhagen and the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna. Monica enjoys cooking, baking, and the outdoors.
